Let’s find better ways to engage with more trade unionists and young people!
We’re proud of the numbers of young people and trade unionists in our local Party who already engage in what we do. But we think we can do better. And we need to do better with a General Election on the horizon.
So, we’re giving over the first hour of our next All Member Meeting on 2 September (due to start at 7.30pm) to find ways to engage with more of them, engage better, and get more to join our local Party.
We’ll use the good sense and energy of everyone in the room to search for more effective ways. We’ll discuss some guiding principles. We’ll brainstorm some ways. We’ll decide which ones to trial.
In the meantime, please get your thinking caps on; and invite all the young people and trade unionists you know to be there.
Say you’ll be there! Retweet this!
For the second half of the meeting we’ll be discussing a range of important policy motions for Labour’s Annual Conference, and choosing one to send there.
