Transport is a vital public service and shouldn’t be used as a political football.
Mayor of London Sadiq Khan has seen off the Conservative government’s attack on free travel for under 18s and protected the Freedom Pass. He also reversed funding cuts to the step free access programme. This means Osterley Station now has lifts – ensuring disabled residents, families with buggies or heavy shopping can rightly access each platform.
We need good, accessible transport links right across Hounslow, Richmond, Twickenham and Kingston. As Assembly Member for the South West I’ll fight for accessible, affordable transport for all.
