Philip to ask council for committment to care plan

On Tuesday night at a meeting of Richmond Council, vice chair of Twickenham CLP and long standing disability campaigner Philip Moshi will be asking the Richmond Cabinet Member for Children's Services and School  'for a clear, longstanding and unreserved commitment that from inception until completion each Education, Health and Care Plan will be both formulated and, after completion the services in it delivered, in accordance with the Law.'

Education, Health and Care Plans are a concern for many parents of children with Special Educational Needs. In the clip below, the BBC reports that Richmond is the worst Local Authority in the UK for managing the transfer to the plans.
