We are pleased to announce that NICK DEXTER will be the Labour Party candidate for the Hampton Wick by-election taking place on Thursday 6 May
The by-election is being held at the same time as the elections for the Mayor of London and the London Assembly). Nick has lived in Teddington for over 20 years and is married with one son. He is a local community campaigner with over 35 years’ experience of working in both central and local government on issues such as housing, planning, communities and regeneration. He regularly challenges the Council’s actions at meetings, and speaks out on behalf of local residents.
Nick says, “Having raised a family locally I know how much Hampton Wick has to offer. But things could be better, and for more residents, particularly young people. As a new voice on the Council, I will challenge current thinking and encourage a new approach so that no one is left behind as we re-emerge from the pandemic.”
